Tom A. Smith follows up with Put On A Record Tommy, a second EP on Fiction Records that builds on his steady ascent in UK indie pop. Raised in Houghton-le-Spring, he began performing as a teenager, quickly moving from local open mic nights to major festival stages including Glastonbury and BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend.

Still early in his career, Smith has already shared bills with artists such as Sam Fender, Gang of Youths and Catfish and the Bottlemen, while also appearing at Hyde Park during Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road shows. Alongside his music work, he is set to portray Dave Stewart in the film Ebony McQueen.

Put On A Record Tommy captures his knack for direct, hook-led songwriting, delivered with a self-assured presence that continues to gather momentum.
