Recorded over two performances in December 1970 at Vassar College in NY, Black Magic Man is a live album from jazz saxophonist Joe McPhee, released in 1975. Consisting of unused songs from the same sessions that produced Nation Time, this ecstatic, spiritual material fully embraced the free jazz movement of the time and helped make McPhee a star.
