IRKED - The Grievance

Initially released back in May, IRKED's long awaited debut is the biggest seller by far on Wrong Speed in 2026. We had to repress it. It has to be available as a record shop standard. It has to be on the wall next to whatever hype record has bought it's way to the top.

The band have toured throughout the UK, supporting PigsX7 on their UK tour, playing up and down the island with Pansy Division, Uranium Club, Part Chimp, Benefits, Hey Colossus and Swami John Reis, at punk fest, DIY spots, and putting their own shows in in Newcastle.
Radio plays on 6Music from New Music Fix, Lamacq, Riley, and Coe. Radio One plays on The Rock Show and Introducing Rock, Radio X via John Kennedy: "I can't get enough of this at the moment!", and album of the week at Amazing Radio Fourteen songs that seem to chase themselves to their end, overflowing with earworms and catchy as hell. Expertly captured by Sam Grant (Pigs x 7), The Grievance is as alive and vibrant as the people who made it. Lyrically covering personal politics, inner-circle politics, work politics, and class politics and set to the backdrop of thee finest Saints / Stiff Richards / Wipers-inspired rippers.
