Group A.D. - Bird of Parallax

Leeds-based Group A.D. follow debut EP ‘Colour Space Transform’ with ‘Bird of Parallax’, one half of a double A-side alongside ‘Sliinky’. Short for The Group For Action & Dance, the project occupies an unusual space between dubbed-out psychedelia, no-wave abrasion and spaghetti-western orchestral drama. A run of sold-out shows in Leeds, Manchester and London, plus support slots with English Teacher, has helped build momentum, while BBC 6 Music’s Lauren Laverne and Emily Pilbeam have both tipped the group for bigger things.
