Experience the raw, unscripted magic of Cory Wong live at New York City’s legendary Blue Note Jazz Club.
Recorded during his week-long residency, ‘On A Random Tuesday’ captures Wong trading large- scale orchestrations for an intimate, groove-heavy masterclass alongside the world-renowned Joshua Redman on tenor saxophone, blending high-octane funk with world class jazz improvisation.
Supported by an elite ensemble including Taylor Eigsti and Kevin Gastonguay (keyboards), Yohannes Tona (bass) and Petar Janjic (drums).
A club-setting performance that prioritizes spontaneous interaction, lightning-fast rhythm work and extended jams over big band production.
