Björk Björk Orkestral – with the Hamrahlíð Choir

We’re thrilled to announce the physical release of björk orkestral - with the hamrahlíð choir - part of the concert series that took place at Harpa concert hall in Reykjavik in 2021. The 24 October show featured the 50-person Hamrahlíð Choir conducted by Þorgerður Ingólfsdóttir and musician Bergur Þórisson on organ and featured songs primarily from Björk's album Medúlla. Released on Vinyl, CD, DVD and Blu-ray for the first time on November 27th, 2026.

These concerts were organized to raise money and awareness for Kvennaathvarfid - a charity that supports women and immigrants of different origin within Iceland.
