Jazz trumpeter Lee Morgan was best known for his classic album, The Sidewinder, released in 1964. It was hugely influential with the long, funky title track quickly becoming a jazz standard. His follow up, The Rumproller, was made in the same image with a funky opener followed by a clutch of hard bop tunes. This one includes The Lady, a tribute to Billie Holiday.
