In September the 7th, Voice Of The Beehive’s debut, UK Top 20 album, ‘Let It Bee’ reissue is being announced. This will be the first reissue since it’s original release in 1988. The band have a fervent fan base and were ‘‘indie darlings’’ of the UK in the late 1980s and early 90s and heavily featured across NME, Melody Maker & alike. This remastered and expanded edition features Bee-Sides, rarities and live tracks. The album announcement is also being paired with a previously unreleased track called ‘Cartoon City’, which will include a visualiser and the artwork for the single will incorporate an original painting from Tracey from the band.
The album originally charted at No.13 UK, No.53 Aus & No.40 NZ. The single ‘Don’t Call Me Baby’ charted at no.15 in the UK, 48 in Aus & no.25 in NZ. Other singles, ‘I Say Nothing’ and ‘I Walk The Earth’ both charted in the top 50.
