Following in the footsteps of the forgotten, and having keenly absorbed the music of the ages, Burton has honed his talent with passionate discipline. With his shadowy baritone and subtly intricate picking, his carefully crafted songs ooze rock hard resignation and melancholy conviction, and he has arrived at a style that is both timeless and deeply personal.

‘Fairweather Friend’ features production by Jonathan Wilson (Father John Misty, Angel Olsen, Margo Price) in Topanga and Echo Park and is influenced by the environment of Los Angeles and Burton’s relationship to his own heart and integrity.

LP pressed onto Bone colour vinyl

Tracklist

Fairweather Friend
After Days Slip Away
I'm A Stranger
Lilac Man
Tomorrow Takes A Dream To Find
Picture People
Before Waking
Free Again
Light Gone Away
Start Over
Do You Still Know Your Man
